Many people seem to hold the belief that search engine optimization can only be mastered by the so called internet gurus. Quite frankly, search engine optimization is merely a blueprint that must be followed with persistence, hard work, and dedication. It makes sense to use seo, after all the search engines will be the primary source of traffic to your websites. So here is my search engine optimization tutorial that will help newbies, and possibly even some advanced marketers as well.

1. To rank high in the search engines, you must post relevant content on your website. This means that if you are selling a product in the dating niche, then you will want to target your website for keywords relating to this. Keyword optimization is vital, and for every 100 words on your website, you want to have a keyword phrase.

2. To find keyword phrases, head over to Google and type in free keyword tool. Many search results will appear, however I suggest you use either the Google tool or Wordtracker tool. I have found both of these tools to be of good use with regard to search engine optimization. Try and find keyword phrases of 2-5 words that have at least 20 daily searches, and optimize your website content around these words.

3. Write articles with these keywords. Write about 5 articles per week that relate to these keywords, and use the keyword in your title, first paragraph, last paragraph, and resource box. The resource box will be at the bottom of your article where you will put the link to your website. You should submit your articles to EzineArticles, as the other directories will not give you nearly the results this one will.

4. Analyze your competition. If you see a very powerful website will a Google page rank over 6, then you may want to optimize your website for a different keyword. This is because these websites are difficult to rank ahead of because likely they have been online for some time. However, do not worry, because there are literally infinite combinations of keywords that can be used. This is an important part of my search engine optimization tutorial that is often overlooked.

5. Read some reviews on SEO products. Find out which products or services produce results for there clients, some products are better than others, so make sure that you are getting a good product if you decide to make this type of investment.
So follow these steps outlined here in the search engine optimization tutorial and I am sure that you will have some positive results with search engine optimization. Just remember to be persistent, and never give up on your internet business!

If this search engine optimization tutorial helped you, then I urge you check out my search engine optimization reviews that will show you even more ways to advance your SEO tactics!
